Background

Developmental deficits in visual and / or auditory functions may impede the acquisition of scholastic skills and lead to dyslexia, dyscalculia or learning disabilities. In many cases the reasons for these difficulties are unclear. The sense organs (eyes and ears) are normal, but processing of information by the brain may be unreliable.

Diagnosis and training in these domains is useful and helps to rectify sensory and optomotor functions in a short period of time. Consequently, the presuppositions for any pedagogic support is beeing improved - in some cases improvements will occur immediately, see studies).

Offers

Assessment and consultation along with diagnosis in visual and auditory functions and saccade control.
In case of deficits in vision or audition or optomotor functions training devices can be rented to specifically improve the refering subdomains.
Assessment and diagnosis in dyslexia and/or dyscalculia by neuropsychological test procedures.
Lectures, Presentations and Workshops for optometrists, teachers, medical doctors and psychologists.

in their practice / clinic / school outside Germany!!!

Assessment days can also be arranged outside Germany, if requested. Existing institutions (such as schools, practices, consultation facilities) are welcome to contact us and make appointments. The only requirement is a minimum number of six children to be examined in sensory and optomotor functions.
