Training of Subitizing and Transfer to Arithmetic
The training of subitizing and number counting by memory was successful in up to 70% of the cases.
Successful training resulted in profits in arithmetic. The figure shows the differences of scores gained
by the experimental ans by the waiting group.
The columns represent the scores of a standardized Math-Test gained by the two groups. While
the experimental group gained about 3 points, the waiting group gained nothing.
